Designer Reveal #1: October Dawn Designs

We are so excited to be here today, revealing October of October Dawn Designs as the 1st contributor to the December 2015 Magical Mousetery Tour. So, let’s get to know her and her designs a little better:

I started, officially, in October 2012. But, before that I was creating freebies and had them available on my blog. It’s interesting how QUICKLY I got addicted to designing!

I know my picture is with Tigger, but Pooh is my favorite! My parents always sang the Winnie the Pooh song to me when I was growing up. And I had a bunch of stuffed Pooh Bears. I guess it was destined to be.

Most of my inspiration comes from Disney. I’m lucky enough to live 30 miles from Walt Disney World, so inspiration is easy to find! As well, I find myself designing kits for things I personally want to scrap. A great example is my Flip Flop State of Mind. It came after a trip to Sanibel Island.

Disney is the place I can be a kid again, let the stresses of life fade away and just relax and have fun. I truly can leave reality behind when I walk through those gates. I think that’s my favorite thing about Disney.

I love seeing people create pages with my products. When I see an amazing page, take a 2nd look and realize it’s MY stuff, well, then I just stop and smile.
